The 16th Annual Griffin Gala

 Starring Betty Buckley and Audra McDonald

at the John Harms Theater

Sponsored by Bergen Jaguar

   A night of wonderful musical entertainment.  Both Betty Buckley and Audra McDonald made you feel as if you were at a private concert.  Each conveyed a raw passion that you couldn't help but be moved by.  The show ended with a history making duet, Buckley and McDonald made perfect harmony together with a piece from the Broadway musical "Grease". 

 

A full display of Jaguars were given the "Red Carpet" treatment the night of the concert and theatrically lit at sundown.

Bergen Jaguar's Upcoming Events:

May 7th:  Annual Dust-Off Sunday.  Rescheduled due to Inclement Weather.  Join Bergen Jaguar and the Jaguar Touring Club all Jaguar owners are welcome in a casual gathering Jaguars Past to Present.  From 10AM to 4PM.

July 24th:  Jaguar/Prudential Golf Classic.  3rd year will be the best!  Will be held at the Ridgewood Country Club to benefit the Tomorrows Children's Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center.  Call Kathy Ambrose at 201-996-5504.

Pride of Jaguar South African Adventure!

Dennis and Alice Squitierri's African Safari with Jaguar Cars and The Pride of Jaguar Winners

 

   The prize for winning the Pride of Jaguar for 1999 included a trip to Africa!  Dennis and Alice Squitierri had a trip of a life-time.  Included here are some of the many photos they took along their varied journey.

     

Some of animals "shot" on safari.  Don't worry, the Lion on the right wasn't shot by anything more than a camera lens.  He was taking a siesta on the nice toasty warm asphalt road!

In Rock Star's Dreams - The Jaguar S-Type

Summary of Jaguar Cars Official Press Release 3/16/00

   Everyone dreams about being a rock star, but what do rock stars dream about?  According to the newest Jaguar advertisement, some of them dream about S-Types.

   Grammy-award-winning artist Sting is one rock star who has demonstrated his affection for the Jaguar S-Type.

   In the making of the Desert Rose music video, producers provided Sting with a choice of several vehicles to be featured in the piece.  Sting chose the Jaguar S-Type for its beautiful styling.  Once the video was completed, Jaguar was approached to see if there were possible opportunities for the two organizations to work together.

   The team at Jaguar loved the video the minute they saw it and collaborated with Sting to make Dessert Rose into both 30 and 60 second commercials.  The commercials debuted March 20 and will run till this August in markets around the world.
