Hans Gillner
Salesperson of the Year 2001
For 2nd time in a row

He's done it again. Hans Gillner, hit another one over the fence this year as he scores Salesman of the Year for the second time running. This guy's good. Oh yeah. He's good. He's very good. Just ask him. Actually, Hans is a very humble guy. Just ask him. He'll tell you. Hans, we want to congratulate you on your achievements. And it's nice to know that we have guys like you on our team, slugger!

"You know it's amazing. Some people actually think we look like brothers. Except for the hair of course. I mean you can see that we both have the same build. We thought it would be a goof if we wore the same outfits. I tell ya, that Elton, he's a real character. I mean that in a good way of course."

---Hans Gillner, Salesperson of the Year

NEW JERSEY

The year was 1962. The car was one of the coolest sports cars on the planet. Naturally I'm talking about the XKE. I mean the thing exudes cool! In fact as a young man who didn't know a great deal about racing cars or sports models, one name I was familiar with was the XKE. Who wasn't? First of all, the fact that there was an X in the name evoked images of secret military projects. Instead of a sports car, it sounded more like some experimental new aircraft the army was developing like the rocket packs that people of the future would be commuting to work in.

This was the early sixties and the X-Factor was big. But generation X wasn't conceived in that era. In 1948 the XK 120 materialized to mystify automotive enthusiasts the world over. In fact, throughout its illustrious history Jaguar has revealed quite an affinity for its X-rated automobiles.
And even though we never quite achieved the rocket pack commute promised us in the '60s the X Factor is still very much alive and well in Jaguar today. Witness the release of two very special limited edition supercharged models making their debut this spring. The XKR 100 and the XJR 100 will be released in very limited editions

--- only 500 of each vehicle will be produced in commemoration of the one hundredth birthday of Jaguar's founder, Sir William Lyons. A true X-Man if ever there was one. And of course let us not forget the latest addition to this X-traordinary tradition, the all wheel drive X-Type. The X-Type. It says it all. An elegant descendant of all the X's that have come before.
