Winter Fashion Event

On the evening of November 29th, Bergen Jaguar, in conjunction with Saks Fifth Avenue, held its first Winter Fashion Spectacular.

Set against the backdrop of Bergen Jaguar's Select Edition Salon, guests were treated to a feast of stunning winter fashions and accessories from S5A and decadent delights courtesy of the Market Basket.

The event was a real hit combining the array of winter fashions and the timeless elegance of Jaguar.

Coming Soon... The Jaguar X-TYPE

By now, if many of you haven't already heard through the "automotive grapevine", there is going to be a new arrival to the Jaguar family.  It's name, the X-TYPE.

This all new sedan, standard with all-wheel drive, is a smaller, more affordable version of its big brother the XJ8.  Effortless, refined performance comes from 2.5- or 3.0-litre V6 engines, derived from the AJ-V6 power train already proved in the Jaguar 3.0-litre S-TYPE sedan.

However, don't think that because the X-TYPE is less expensive that we've squandered on all of the typical amenities that the Jaguar owner is accustomed to.  The X-TYPE is replete with its richly crafted interior and many new technological innovations.

The X-TYPE is positioned below the S-TYPE in both size and price.  "It will attract a new generation of customers to Jaguar," says Mike O'Driscoll, president of Jaguar North America.  "The X-TYPE has an attitude and spirit that will appeal to a broad spectrum of customers-a younger and more diverse group than ever before."

A Night on the French Riviera

Scheduled for the evening of March 11, 2001, The American Cancer Society will host their 2001 gala with this year's honoree being the Westfield Shoppingtown Garden State Plaza.  Expected to be a delight for the eyes as well as the palette guests will be treated to an evening of dining and dancing complete with strolling minstrels!

In addition to such corporate sponsors as UPS, Seiko and Sony, Bergen Jaguar has also pledged its sponsorship by providing a 2 year lease of a Jaguar S-TYPE and a gift basket set to include Jaguar hats, shirts and a travel bag.

Since November 13th, a Jaguar S-TYPE has been on display  at the Neiman Marcus Court.  Throughout the holiday season, patrons were encouraged to have their purchases gift wrapped at one of the many "Friends of the American Cancer Society" wrapping stations.  At which time a raffle ticket could be purchased for the S-TYPE to be raffled at the March gala.

This black-tie event is meant to show thanks to the Garden State Plaza for providing the stage for the event but mainly as a means to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
