Two Jaguars
Jaguar Cars and Plane Reception
Successful in Teterboro

They’re both engineered to the highest standards…
They both possess Jaguar style… They both fly.

Photos
The Jaguar Special Edition Beech King Air C90B was flown to Teterboro, New Jersey for a close inspection by Jaguar enthusiasts. The reception located in Jet Aviation’s hanger included 7 Jaguar cars which set a most classic scene. Wine, cheese, and fresh fruit were offered to admirers, delights which would certainly make a good in-flight snack.
The Jaguar plane shares the same appointments found in Jaguar cars such as Connolly leather seating and burl walnut trim, all creating a most elegant plane. Flying to a business meeting or vacation spot should certainly be as stylish as driving in a Jaguar, otherwise it wouldn’t be any fun!

And the Winner Is… Envelope Please…
Winner of two July sales contests, first for the "Salesperson of the Month" with the most new and pre-owned deliveries and second, for new car department with the most new car deliveries. George will be dressed for more success with the gift certificates he won.

Jaguar Feature of
the Month
Backing up in tight spots and parallel parking can sometimes be a pain for any driver. Jaguar cars have a special feature to help you out in those times when a curb view would be most helpful. When placing your Jaguar in reverse simply press the side-view mirror adjuster down. Your passenger side-view mirror will then automatically adjust downward giving you a curbside view for backing up. Once you take your Jaguar out of reverse the mirror will automatically return to its originally adjusted position. If you don’t already use this feature try it out, it can be really useful in avoiding wheel damage from out-of-sight curbs.

Nature Abounds at Bergen Jaguar
Years ago Paramus was a large farming community. What are now shopping malls, stores, and car dealerships like Bergen Jaguar once consisted of fields with growing fruits and vegetables.

We were reminded of Paramus’ history recently at Bergen Jaguar. A 6-foot tall corn stalk adorns the side of the new-car showroom. Where it came from is a mystery. Maybe it sprung from a random seed in the newly mulch laid or perhaps someone mischievously planted the corn stalk in the dead of night.

In either case, management’s decision was to keep the corn stalk, just for the fun of it. It now sports a full-grown piece of corn. Maybe Bergen Jaguar will carry fresh vegetables next summer. Who wouldn’t want to buy fresh corn or tomatoes along with a Jaguar?

Small baby bunny rabbits were spotted outside the pre-owned showroom. Cecile Sinnung in pre-owned sales first noticed the bunnies outside her window on a small area of sod. Apparently they made their home among the new bushes and trees planted by the pre-owned showroom.

Dennis Squitieri Attends Jaguar Meetings in California

Dennis Squitieri, Managing Director, traveled to California this August to attend the Pride of Jaguar’s Task Force meetings. The committee worked on ways to recognize and reward dealer excellence.

When September comes around Dennis will be off to Palm Springs, California to attend Jaguar’s Color and Trim Committee meetings. This committee provides input and suggestions that result in decisions on what colors and combinations will be available on future Jaguars. These are very important decisions, especially given the reputation Jaguar has for unique and stylish colors.

Technician of the Month
Congratulations to George Hernandez who was selected the technician of the month for July. A committee of 6 people including employees and managers from both the service and parts departments chooses the technician of the month. The selection criteria is based on several factors including overall working attitude, cooperation, and productivity. The chosen technician must also have no rechecks on servicing he performed and must organize his workload so he does not refuse a servicing job. The reward for being selected is use of a 1998 Jaguar sedan for a weekend. Well done George!
