The Jaguar line of S-TYPE models are manufactured in
Castle Bromwich, United Kingdom and include several styling and
performance variations. The S-TYPE is available with a choice of 3.0-litre
V6 or 4.2-litre V8 engines. Both power-plants
are matched to a ZF 6-speed automatic transmissions. The 3.0 model is also
available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
All S-TYPEs are engineered and equipped to deliver the high levels of
refinement and craftsmanship long associated with Jaguar.
Interiors feature ample amounts of soft Connolly leather along with
hand-crafted Bird's Eye Maple wood.
S-TYPEs also feature a long list of safety features including front and
rear crumple zones, safety belt pretensioners and
ISOFIX anchorages, an adaptive restraint technology system (A.R.T.S.),
